Advantages to Outsourcing to Industrial Timber

By outsourcing frames to Industrial Timber, Customers are actually in a much better position of being in control of their frame program.  With respect to costs, for example, no company can run an effective mill room if they don’t know their true costs.  In raw materials alone, with the weekly fluctuations in the wood markets, being gray on costs can result in poor buying decisions.  Carrying heavy raw material inventories can tie up cash putting a company in a position of not being able to take advantage of downward turns in the market.

On production, many mill rooms are secondary in precedence to upholstery which results in the mill cutting for priority where as Industrial Timber cuts for yield with established buffers resulting in us always staying ahead of our customer’s upholstery lines.  Industrial Timber achieves better yields on lumber and panels then most in house mill operations and our waste factor is much lower.  Additionally, we run in less space, with far less employees, are more in tune with the raw material markets and have R&D capabilities that are typically unsurpassed by that of an upholsterer.
